How many of us can admit that we are not where we want to be? I know I am not, when I was younger I saw myself living comfortable and not really wanting for nothing. But because life happens I am not where I pictured myself by now. Let me asked you a question, better yet ask yourself this; Question: Because my dreams have not come true is that it? Answer: NO. One of the hardest things to do is be honest with yourself. This has to stop now if you want to make a change. We all have dreams and that is what they are. I believe dreams are a glimpse of what could be we cannot miss what we never worked for or ever had. I thought I was a great football and baseball player and I probably was in my own right. But I am not in the league (NFL or MLB). That’s real but my dream was to have every kid in the world wearing my Jersey #32 did it happen no, did life stop no we move on. So do not stop because it did not happen when you wanted it to. Remember a glimpse is just that a peek, but it is not reality. We make our own reality the decisions we make in life dilates some of our outcomes in life. Sometimes it is even the people that we allow in our lives make up our outcome. Let me explain, think about the top 5 people in your live take their income and average them up and you will more than likely be right around your income. If your income is that much higher than most of the people around you then you need to change your circle. That is real talk people; not saying that you need to forget them just limited your time with them. Let’s look at the other side of the coin. Do people that are successful allow you in their circle? The answer is a flat NO! They understand this dynamic you would bring their average down. Now why do I bring this up you might ask? It is simple if you want to change your live start hanging around those you might look up to. See when you are the man or woman everyone is looking to you, so if you are the most successful person in your circle get a new one. You want to be at the bottom of the circle because they will challenge you to do better. Get out of your comfort zone!!! See if you are comfortable with your friends and everyone has to come to you for everything that is a sign you are in a comfort zone. Now there is nothing wrong with this but if you have a dream that is bigger than you if you are striving for something that people say you can never achieve then you need to step out of that comfortable zone and get a little uncomfortable to get to the level that you are trying to get. It time to take that leap, jump off that cliff. Now I know it is scary but one thing I can promise you that vision you have you will never achieve it by just sitting where you are. It is not sometime that happens all at once, it happens in stages. Little at a time and if you are called to that which you have set out, you will have the patience for it. You will have bumps in the road you will even feel like given up, people telling you; ”You are crazy, you can not do this, just give up”. Family and friends will turn their back on you and you will feel alone, that’s okay it is all a part of it. You have to start saying to yourself “You do not have to believe in my dream” all that is important is that YOU BELIEVE!!! How do I step out?? One of the first things you have to do is start networking with people. Get to know the people in the industry you want to be in, do not go in knowing everything you seen on YouTube or read somewhere just listen. People love to talk about themselves and what they do just listen. Take mental notes and you will start to know who’s who in the arena. Then if need be take classes or online courses. This process could take anywhere from 6 months to years I will not put a number on learning because you should never stop learning. This is the one down fall a lot of us have we want it in a box with instructions and it is not that easy, IT IS WORK!!!! Start working in your field, I am not saying open your own business just starts working. If you have to work for free then do it. People underestimate the power of volunteerism people will see what you are doing and remember that trust me I know. No matter what it is or how small it is do it get your name out there. Also it is a great way to network!!!! You will see and understand that I am big on networking. Your Networking will dictate you Net worth.
